# Editing a Scheduled Party

You're able to make changes to any of your pending posts anytime.

**Remember:** Any changes you make in a scheduled party *will not* show in your templates or other scheduled parties.

There are two possible scenarios:

* Editing party posts still pending on your dashboard
* Editing posts that have already been [pre-loaded](https://support.postmyparty.com/en/article/how-to-schedule-a-party-u46fzu/) to Facebook

We will cover how to edit posts in both scenarios below.

### To edit pending posts on your dashboard:

* Click **Parties** from your dashboard menu.  
​
* Select the **name of the party** you want to edit.  
​

There is a series of icons listed to the far right of each post, under the **Actions** column.

You have three editing options here.

* *Quick Edit:* This pops up a window, where you can edit most of your post details.

* *Edit:* This leads you to a new page, where you can edit all of your post details.  
​
* *Delete:* This deletes your post permanently.

**Posts that are deleted cannot be recovered.**

Additional Notes:

* Use the **Add New Post** button at the top of this page to create more posts in this scheduled party. Any posts here created here will not show in any templates or other scheduled parties.

* Use the [Adjust Post Time](https://support.postmyparty.com/en/article/how-to-use-the-adjust-posts-feature-16huw93/) tool at the top of the page to shift the posts times of all pending posts in this party.

## To edit posts that have already been pre-loaded to Facebook:

If you have used the [Schedule a Party](https://support.postmyparty.com/en/article/schedule-a-party-from-the-chrome-extension-1oqps76/) tool to pre-load your posts to Facebook, any editing you'd like to do will need done on Facebook itself.

* Go to the Facebook group the posts have been scheduled to.
* Look in the lefthand column and click **Scheduled Posts** (you may need to scroll down a bit)

All posts you have pre-loaded to this group will be listed here.

You can edit any post by clicking the 3-dot icon in the corner of the post, and selecting *Edit post.*
