2. Sharing a public video link

Continue reading to see how each option is used.

# Upload a Video File

When creating a new post:

* Either click the *Browse File* box to upload your video file, or drag-and-drop your video file into that box.

|| Note: With the basic subscription plan, you can upload a video up to 100MB in size. Depending on the file type and quality, 100MB can range from approximately 1-10 minutes in length. Videos larger than 100MB would require a [Pro subscription](https://help.postmyparty.com/en/collections/5707312-professional-subscription-level-features) level.

# Share a public video link

Any video link you share must be public (or if you're using your own YouTube videos, 'unlisted' videos would also be acceptable).

When creating a new post:

* Locate the Message section of this post.
* Enter the video link within the Message box. The link will not appear clickable here, but once it publishes to Facebook, it will be a blue clickable link.

| If there is no media attached to the post: Once posted, Facebook may generate and publish a picture preview of that video.

There are some videos that Facebook just does not display this picture preview for. We recommend testing out your posts in a practice group before using in a party if at all possible, so you can review how those videos are displayed.
