# How to use the extension's Schedule button for individual posts

|| This feature is only available for posts scheduled to Facebook Groups - not Events, Pages, or Messenger Chats.

### This article walks you through how to use the **Schedule** button on INDIVIDUAL posts listed in the Chrome extension. 
Pre-load your post's content to Facebook, so it's set to publish *without your computer needing to be on!*

| Do you want to schedule an entire party, instead of just a few individual posts? Using the [Schedule a Party](https://support.postmyparty.com/en/article/schedule-a-party-from-the-chrome-extension-1oqps76/) tool would be more efficient than what is described here.

If you have not already, you'll need to [schedule your posts on PostMyParty](https://support.postmyparty.com/en/article/how-to-schedule-a-party-the-new-way-2ywfdg/) before following the steps below.

# Open the extension

1. From Google Chrome, click the **Extension** icon *(looks like a puzzle piece).*

2. From the list given, choose PostMyParty.

3. If it's not already, toggle the switch in the top right corner on.  
*You may be asked to sign in. If so, enter your PostMyParty login information.*

The box will circle while thinking, then display all posts that are scheduled in your PostMyParty account.

# Schedule a Post

1. Click the Post queue tab, then the Upcoming section.

2. Locate the post you want to pre-load to Facebook. Use the navigation arrows to look through your pages of posts, if needed.

3. Click the **Schedule** icon beside a post you want to schedule to Facebook.

A new Facebook tab will pop up and load your post info, and fill in the Date and Time of that post.

*(No need to copy/paste your content!)*

After that, Facebook is responsible for publishing that post at the time selected.

**For posts scheduled this way:**  
​  
* You do not need to have your computer on or be connected to the internet at the time of that post for it to publish.

* You can continue to follow those steps for any post you'd like to schedule in this manner. If you want to pre-load all posts, using the [Schedule a Party tool](/en/article/schedule-a-party-from-the-chrome-extension-1oqps76/) in the extension would be more efficient.

These posts can be found listed in the **Manage** panel on the left-hand side of the Facebook group they're scheduled to.

On PostMyParty, that post's status will now be labeled as *Scheduled to Facebook on date/time*.
