PostMyParty offers hundreds of images (and counting!) for you to use, all in the Free Content tab on your dashboard. These images can be added to templates, scheduled parties, post libraries, and quick posts.
And since we're integrated with Canva, you can even customize any of the images to change colors, fonts, and elements used.
Finding an image
Click the Free Content tab from your PostMyParty dashboard.
Then you can either search for a topic, or browse by collection.
Once you've found the image you want to use, you have several options:
Add that image to a post
Download it to your device
Edit that image
Add Image to a Post
Click the arrow icon, in the top corner of that image:
A new window will pop up. From the dropdown box provided, choose whether you want to add this to an existing template, party, post library, or a quick post.
If you select to add it to a template, party or post library, a second dropdown box will be given. Choose the location you want to add this image to.
Click the Post This Image button to continue.
You'll be directed to creating a new post with that image, in the location you had selected.
Be sure to finish filling in that page and click the Create button at the bottom to save this post.
Download the Image
Click the Download icon, and the image will expand to full size.
The next steps can vary on the device you're on.
On computer:
Right click on the image, choose "Save image as...", then save it to your device.
On phone or tablet:
Hold down on the image until a new window pops up, then choose to download the image.
Edit the Image
Click the Design icon.
A new window will pop up with a preview of the Canva template.
Click the Use template button, and you'll be directed to Canva where you can edit the image however you'd like.
Note: You may be prompted to log into your Canva account at this time. If you don't already have one, you can create a free Canva account.
After you're finished editing the image, click Share in the top corner of the Canva screen, and select Download from the menu.
On this last menu, it will show the file and size details of that image, click the Download button to save it to your device.
Now you can use that image in any posts you create!
