Steps to locating your group, event, or page's link

You'll need the link to any Facebook location you want to schedule your posts to.

This article will be split in 3 parts:

  • Finding a Group link

  • Finding an Event link

  • Finding a Page link

Finding a Group link
​

  • First, log into your Facebook account from a web browser (not the Facebook app).

  • Navigate to the Facebook group you want to schedule posts to.
    ​You can use either the search bar, or the Groups tab from your Facebook menu to get to the group.
    ​

One you are in your Facebook group, there are a couple places you can grab the link from:

  1. The fastest way is to copy the link from the browser bar at the top of your screen.
    ​Depending on your device, you may need to hover your cursor over the top or bottom of your screen for it to appear.

    ​OR
    ​
    ​

  2. Click the 3-dot icon (indicated by the arrow, below) and select Share from the window that pops up.

    From there, click Copy Link.
    ​


    Now that you've located and copied your group link, you can schedule posts to that group.
    ​

    Finding an Event Link

    • First, log into your Facebook account from a web browser (not the Facebook app).

    • Navigate to the Facebook event you want to schedule posts to.
      ​You can use either the search bar, or the Events tab from your Facebook menu to get to the event.

  1. The fastest way is to copy the link from the browser bar at the top of your screen.
    ​​Depending on your device, you may need to hover your cursor over the top or bottom of your screen for it to appear.

    OR

  2. ONLY IF the event is public (not private or friends-only), click the Arrow icon shown below:
    ​


    Select Copy Event Link.
    ​
    ​


    Now that you've located and copied your event link, you can schedule posts to that event.
    ​
    ​NOTE: Do not use the Invite Link offered - that will not work.
    ​

Finding a Page Link

  • First, log into your Facebook account from a web browser (not the Facebook app).

  • Navigate to the business page you want to schedule posts to.
    ​

  • Copy the link from the browser bar at the top of your screen.
    ​​Depending on your device, you may need to hover your cursor over the top or bottom of your screen for it to appear.
    ​
    ​


    Now that you've located and copied your event link, you can schedule posts to that page.
