How can I post to my Business Page as my Business Page from the Keyboard Extension?
Open up the Facebook App on your mobile device.
Depending on your device, Android or Apple, these settings will either be in the upper right corner of the app (to the right of the Notifications bell icon) OR in the bottom right corner of the app (Apple), there will be circle with the photo of your personal profile showing.
Click the circle and choose the circle photo with your Business Page photo in it (it might have 2 arrows around it)
**Note, you might need to click the arrow that is pointing down all the way to the right to choose another Business Page if you have more than one**
Click again on the circle photo in the upper right corner to open up the option to choose your Business Page to post to. You will just click on your Business Page name at this point to open up that Business Page.
Once you are viewing your Business Page inside the Facebook App, click where it says “What’s on your mind?” Tap in the area where you would normally type to open up your keyboard, then choose PostMyParty for the Choose Input Method to open the PMP Keyboard Extension while in that post. **If on an iPhone, that icon for opening up the PMP Keyboard Extension might look like a World Icon instead**
Navigate to where your post is in the Keyboard Extension. This will be either in your RECENT TAB or your LIBRARIES TAB on the left side of the Extension. (It might take a few minutes for the Recent Tab to load your posts if you have a lot of content in PMP.) **If you have given Titles to your posts, or created Tags for them in PMP, you can easily search for the post you want to post to your Business Page.
Once you have found your post, Tap on the text part of the post in the Keyboard Extension, this will automatically copy and paste the message part of your post into FB. You will now see that message in the post in the upper part of your screen.
Next, click on the media part of the post, this will copy the photo that is in the post to your device’s clipboard if it is a single photo post. For a single photo post, you will then need to click on the Photo Icon (might be green picture icon) in the post, this will open up your device’s clipboard, where you will then see that photo you copied. Click it to add it to the post.
At this point, if there are any Replacement Tokens in your post, you will need to enter those in where needed for the post (or you can delete them out of the post altogether if they are not necessary to have). This can be done right in the PMP Keyboard, since you can type text with it also. Place your cursor where needed to enter in the element for the Replacement Token and then click on the ABC option in the bottom left corner of the PMP Keyboard. This will open up the keyboard to typing text into your post. Once your post tokens are edited and adjusted, continue on to the next step.
Once the content is all copied to the post in the Facebook App, click on the NEXT button in the upper right corner. This will open up a window that will ask if you want to Add a Call button to the post, choose Add Button or Not Now.
Then you will see the Post Settings option open up for that post, along with the Post Sharing option where you can choose up to 3 Groups that your Page is Admin of to post this post to as well. You can also choose to Schedule this post to post at a later date or time of your choosing. Once you choose what you would like there, click on the Blue POST button in the upper right corner of the screen.
CONGRATULATIONS!! You have now posted to your Business Page in the Facebook App as your Business Page!!
