You may find yourself wanting to create a series of emails, to publish to members of one of your Facebook groups. You can accomplish this by creating an email sequence.

Your sequence can then be scheduled to send to the attendees of any of your groups, from your RSVP landing page.

Create a Sequence

  1. Choose Emails from your dashboard menu.

  2. Select the Email Sequence tab.

  3. Click the Create Email Sequence button.

  4. Name your sequence - this will not be seen by your recipients, only you.

    • Click Create Email Sequence to confirm.

  5. A new window will pop up, click Continue to begin adding emails to your sequence.

There are two ways to add emails to your sequence:

  • If you want to make a brand new email, select the Create Email button

  • If want to use an email you've already created in your email library, select the Add From Email Library button.

We will go through both options below.

1) Create Email

Click the Create Email button.

Next, enter:

  • Email name (seen only by you)

  • Subject (seen by your recipients)

Click the Edit Email Content button.

Next, enter:

  • Day of Email (Note: this is not the date of the month, rather the day of the campaign you want this to be sent.)

  • Time of day you want this email to be sent

  • Click Save Changes, and this email will be listed to your sequence.

2) Add from Email Library

Click the Add From Email Library button.

A new window will pop up. Select your preferred email from the dropdown box given.

Click the Add button.

You'll then be taken to a screen where you'll enter:

  • Day of Email (Note: this is not the date of the month, rather the day of the campaign you want this to be sent.)

  • Time of day you want this email to be sent

Click Save Changes, and this email will be listed to your sequence.

Emails added using either of those methods will be listed under your sequence:

You can keep using the Create Email or Add from Email Library buttons to continue adding to this sequence.

Schedule the Email Sequence to Publish

When you are finished creating your sequence and want to schedule it to send to the members of a group, you will want to enable this on the RSVP Landing Page for that group.

1. Select Parties from the PostMyParty menu.

2. Locate the party you want to create a landing page for, and click the RSVP icon to the far right.

If you haven't already created the RSVP Landing page for this party, you can do so at this time.

Near the bottom of this page, toggle on the option to Assign Email Sequence.

From here, choose the Emil Sequence you want to schedule and the date you want it to start on.

The emails in that sequence will show here, along with the date and time they will be scheduled to send.

Click Save Changes.

Your emails will be sent to all who RSVP to that group, at the date and time they are scheduled for.
