For Guests | How to Join a Virtual Pop-Up 🎉

If you've just received a link to a Virtual Pop-Up party, you might be wondering what this is and what to do.

We're here to help! 🙌

💌 How to Join a Virtual Pop-Up

1. Click on the link that was sent to you.

The link will look something like this:
https://go.postmyparty.com/jane-doe/my-party

2. Enter your information.

Submit your first and last name, along with your email address.

If you have participated in a Virtual Pop-Up with PostMyParty in the past, you can use the Login option instead of creating a new account.

On the following page, you'll be asked for your phone number. Depending on your host's settings, this may be required. Click Submit.

If a phone number is entered, you will need to check the box to agree to the conditions listed.

3. Verify your account.

Check your email and enter the 6-digit verification code given in that message.

If you don't see that email, be sure you're checking the inbox of the email address you had submitted in the last steps. The email will come from support@postmyparty.com, and may have landed in your spam box.

4. OPTIONAL) Add the Party App to your home screen.

🎉 This is a bonus feature that adds an icon to your home screen for super easy access to the party - just tap the icon and you're there! This can be added to both your phone and/or computer.

👉 If you choose to download the app, follow the prompts given to allow the download and enter the party.

👉 If you prefer not to use the app, that's okay! Click the option to skip straight to the party instead.

Whichever option you choose, you'll be sent to the Pop-Up and greeted with this screen:

We recommend choosing to allow notifications, so you'll receive an alert on activity happening in the party.

If you decide not to at this time, the option to enable notifications will remain available.

Interact in the Pop-Up

You've made it to the party, and can now participate along!

❤️ 'Like' posts

✍️ Comment on posts, including adding pictures and GIFs

💬 Privately message a host of the party

🎞️ Watch live streams and comment along in real time.

💁‍♀️ Change your profile picture or other profile settings. This is found in the upper corner of the Pop-Up.

How do I get back to the party?

Great question! This can be done in several different ways. Use any of these options to lead you back to the party:

If the app was downloaded, simply tap the Party icon on the home screen of your device.

Tap any notification you receive. This could be on your computer or phone.

Interact with any email alerts you receive.
Use the link to the party that was originally shared with you.
