If you've set up a Virtual Pop-Up, you may be wondering how to get people to join the party.

Wondering how to create a Virtual Pop-Up? This guide will be more helpful: How to Create a Virtual Pop-Up

How to invite guests to join your pop-up:

1) Grab your pop-up's share link.

  • From your PostMyParty dashboard, click Parties.

  • From the list given, locate the pop-up you're wanting to send invites to.

  • Click the RSVP icon to the far right of that pop-up's title.

  • Scroll to the bottom of the page, and copy the Share Link.

2) Send the link to your guests.

Include the share link in the invitations you send to your guests. This can be done via text, email, or however you normally communicate with that person.

If this party is for a host, you can share the link with your host and instruct her on how to send her invitations.

From the guest's perspective:

When someone uses your link, they'll be greeted with the RSVP form for that Pop-Up.

  1. They will enter their name and email address, then click Continue.

  1. Next, they'll enter their phone number (which is only required if you selected that option when customizing the settings ) and check the box agreeing to receive messages from you.

  1. They will have the option to install our PMP Party App to their desktop, which pins the PMP logo to their homescreen.

After they submit their info, they'll be directed to your pop-up and be able to view and interact with your posts.

How will my guests be notified of new posts?

  • Email digest. Users receive email digest for all unviewed posts (if any) from all parties. They can specify the frequency (never, hourly, daily, weekly) in their profile settings. Hourly is the default.

  • Mobile notifications. Users can receive mobile notifications each time a new post is published. We ask for the permission to send notifications as soon as they arrive into into your party, right after they RSVP.

NOTE: we ask for the permission both in app and in browser (even mobile). So, it's not required to install the app to receive mobile notifications.
