Virtual Pop-Up Chats

You can send a direct message to the members of any Virtual Pop-Up you have created.

Chats are private between you and each individual member.
Members of the group cannot create chats between each other.

Start a new chat:

Navigate to one of your Virtual Pop-Ups.

Click the Chat icon in the top corner.

Select the New Chat icon.

You have two options here. Either:

Send a message to all members of the pop-up. In this case, check the box beside that pop-up's title.

All messages are private between you and the other person. This is not a group chat of all individuals together in one chat group.

Or, send a message to a selected individual (or individuals). In this case, select the box beside any member name that you want to send the same message to.

A new window will pop up. Type your message, and upload any media (photos, GIFs, video).

Click the Send icon to send this chat to all members that had been selected, and your chat will be sent immediately! 🎉

Chat notifications

You may be wondering how you and your members will be notified of new chats. Anytime a new chat is sent, the recipient will receive a browser notification on their device(s).

Clicking the notification will bring them to the chat they were alerted to.

While the appearance will vary slightly depending on each person's browser and device they use, here are some examples:

On desktop/laptop:

On mobile devices, like a phone or tablet:

Within the pop-up, any device:
